For Fall 2012, designer ANNE BOWEN set the trend by showing opulent gold gowns on the runway. It only seems natural that a designer known for her exquisite beading would take inspiration from the iconic jewelry house Cartier. The "Trinity" gown with its rich coloration of white, yellow, and rose gold pays homage the great house and more specifically the Trinity ring by Cartier, a favorite among celebrities like Cameron Diaz and Nicole Kidman. The gown itself is very reminiscent of the Art Deco period in which the ring was created.
